As a Good Hope High School learner or Ex-Good Hope learner we know that
Wednesday is Chapel. A time where we get to learn more about our Creator and
Saviour Jesus Christ.
In today's Chapel presentation Mr Malgas, the longest serving teacher at
Good Hope High School valiantly defended and encouraged us to the read the
Bible. We need to honour our parents, keep all the commandments, not just some
of them. He especially referred to the fourth commandment, which is neglected
and misunderstood by almost the whole world. We should not use our tongue to
gossip and discredit the character of others but use the gift of speech to
encourage and speak well of others and spread the Gospel. In conclusion Mr Malgas made it clear that Jesus is coming back to this world to put an end to sin and suffering...
I always enjoyed the Wednesdays Chapel Services. It was encouragin and singing was uplifting. It was one of my best times at Good Hope.
