For as long as humanity has been aware of itself, human beings have been seized with the curiosity to understand their history, identity and the meaning of their existence.
We need to relate to others in a meaningful way. This is contained in our motto or credo; “Duty is Sacred”. Our vision and mission encapsulate the very ethos that we as a school stand for.
Good Hope High School has proven itself as a place where staff members and learners register to become part of a family...the family of God! Through the years, many of those passing through its halls has given us much to be proud of…by becoming leaders in many different fields.
In terms of our academic vision
Our Matric results of 2015 have shown that we are moving in the right direction. We had an 86.4% Matric pass rate and an internal pass rate of 95%. We trust that 2016 will see us accomplish the attainable 100% pass rate for all learners! With a spirit of cooperation, this objective can become a reality.I have no doubt that this year will grant us the space and opportunity to grow and work together, and stand united for the success of our school!
To our patrons and stakeholders of the Good Hope High School community, I want to thank you for your support and trust. We pride ourselves in a having a close relationship with all our stakeholders. May this relationship go from strength to strength and may 2016 be a fruitful and prosperous year.
